Well not completely one year yet but it is close. What can I say I got busy with stuff and enjoying myself. I came to check on this blog and remembered something that happened to me last year.

Last year I was always looking for new materials to learn, which was how I found mini site creator and other stuff. However, looking back I realized there was one product that I brought I felt was a total waste of time at least for me, it might be totally worthwhile for you. Anything that applies to me might not apply to you, so please don’t come back with flames if you disagree.

Anyway I found this product through a ebook about how this guy made it and how he did it. It was so compelling that I went and brought the whole full course product for $800 or was it $1000 dollar, I don’t remember. All I remember was that it cost me arms and legs to buy it. Anyone heard of The million Dollar Answer or Millions at the Kitchen Table by Jason Isakson. At first I totally brought the whole message the product was <strike>manipulating me to believe</strike> * scratch that* teaching me. If anyone want to know what he is doing, it is called viral marketing. He essentially used his own ebook which people brought at a cheap price to sell his real product for an enormous product at the end of the ebook. A lot of good marketer does this, I might even do it some day when I get off my lazy butt. Viral marekting is really a good way to sell stuff, just about it, it gets the same consumer to buy the same materials twice.

Oh right maybe I went overboard, the full course product did teach me some stuff it, just NOT worth it to buy for the amount I paid for *CRY*. I could easily learn it at a cheaper price by someone who could give me more materials, in addition to what the guy was selling. However the ebook Millions at the Kitchen Table is a total waste of time, learned nothing at all. It was just simply a good story about this guy and his road to success, a very good read if you want something enjoyable to read.

On the other hand, if I have to give him some credit his full course materials really isn’t that bad… It got a couple good ideas but you know how people basically just talk but no action? I thought that was what his full course product was doing and I wasn’t satisfy in the end. Of course I didn’t realize this until I brought something from someone else, and I realize the meaning of buying something expensive that’s really worth it for every penny it cost me. I’m not very posh but you get the idea. This is the end of my rant so maybe see you guys for another year or so.

–Ciao, Katy

What is the rarest thing on earth? Many people would guess jewels, the exotics or something unbelievable expensive that only the mega rich could afford. However, the rarest of the rare in the world lies somewhere closer to your heart. That is a person who can keep their mental state in perfect equilibrium.

The key to success does not lie in ambition or even education. My belief is that success lies in maintaining a balanced spiritual state. Don’t get me wrong, I am not talking about religion. Personally, I don’t even believe in god. The spiritual state I am referring to is the mental struggles everybody deals with.

Nobody is perfect, everybody have their ups and down. However, if you are self employed you would have more ups and down than any ordinary people. Do any of these lines sound familiar? If you work hard, if you have a goal, if you are determine, if you are ambitious… etc you will have what you want at the end. Guess what… it doesn’t always work.

There will always be something that brings your energy level down. One simple stumbling block can make the most ambitious person lose their energy. One negative factor can kill your goal even faster than gambling your fortune away. This simple negative force is like a worm. It tunnel itself into you life. Eventually, it reaches the point that nothing ever goes the way it was supposes to. You’ll notice misfortunes throw themselves at you from every corner.

You should be aware, misfortune occurs because you invite it home. If you don’t believe in yourself and feel the world is against you, then this negative energy is felt by the people near it. It allows you to make mistake and in these mistakes it will produce even more negativity.

If you wake up and claim it is the worst morning you ever have. Of course, the rest of the day will be even worse, because your state of mind is already accepting negativity. It accepts and even expect for misfortune to happen. This is why you don’t say “what else can go wrong”. Of course something will happen and it will be even worse than the previous event.

That is why the rarest of the rare is a person who can keep their mental state in perfect equilibrium. Who do you know have an absolute perfect life without trouble, worries and stress? Who do you know that have never been weighed down by problems. I have never met a person who can claim they have a perfect life. Dead people will be an accepted answer.

This is the reason why people who are self employed need to regenerate their spiritual health regularly. If you don’t feel like you are at the top of the world, how do you expect people to believe in you. Nobody like working with a snarly devil. Frankly you can be the greatest actor on earth and people can still feel your negativity. Negativity never helps sales. If you believe in yourself, people will become influence by your positive energy and believe in you.

So believe in yourself, because that’s the only person who can do it and mean it. The greatest solution is always, if you need to rest, go rest and regenerate your spirit to tackle the next day.

There were many occasions when I needed to record scenes on my computer, did any of you have the same problem? There was one occasion I had to help a friend of mine use a certain program, and it was so hard giving instructions on the phone. It would have been so nice if I had Camtasia Studio back then.

Camtasia studio records exactly what you see on your computer. It is a easy program to use and it really gives precise editing and butter-smooth on screen movement. Not only that the finished touch looks really professional. so if you need to give instruction, you can show the exact step with them following along at the same time.

Take a look of how I used Camtasia ^^

You can try it for 30 days and see how easy it is^^ –> http://www.techsmith.com/

Have you ever notice, if you knew where to look, you will find a lot of tools for free? It is really fun to surf the net and suddenly find a link with all kinds of cool tools that makes your life easier. Months ago, I found a site with all kind of calculator that calculate quotations for real estate , interests, loan, mortgage and … etc. There were way more calculators then what I’d listed.

If anyone is interested I will try to find that site again.

Here’s another site that I love using, and it is given by Google: Google Help Desk

There is even a question and answer search box. It allows you to type in a question and comes up with an answer. I’m going to make use of this tool.

It’s true, I don’t like Jim Edwards’ Mini Site Creator. I love his Mini-Site Creator courses.

It explains everything you ever need to create your own little mini website. This package is not for you, if you are looking to enhance your website designing skills. You will be utterly bored with the mini site creator. However, if you were like me and want to learn how to create your own website from scratch with absolutely no website design, then this is for you.

I never saw a reason to pay another person a couple hundred of dollars for someone to make a simple website when I could create one myself. Do you see a reason?

I really do love the mini site creator, simply because it teaches everything from scratch. Some people would assume you know how to open and save files, since this is so common, but Jim Edward doesn’t assume you know all the common steps. It assumes you know nothing and go over everything in great detail. Haven’t you seen other tutorials that jump from one step to another and leave you wondering, how the hell did he do it? So many tutorials forget beginners do not know the shortcuts they used a million of times.

I remember listening to all those video clips he had in the Mini Site Creator, and I wondered how long it took him to create this package. Because he goes over so many stuff, and sometimes go over it twice to make sure you know it. He covered lots of different types of websites for small businesses, newsletter, e-book and affiliates. He even covered copyrighting, oops I don’t think I should have mentioned this, was suppose to be a surprise.

I’m going to give you something you will never see on other sites. Since I am making some money off my referral link, I will give some of the money back to you. After 65 days of purchase, please email me your proof of purchase for the Mini Site Creator and I will give you back $30.00 back. Yes, this is no lie, I really mean it.

Please do not email me if you brought it off any other links or affiliates, I am only offering this deal to people who brought off my link. Like I said before, if I made some money off you, it is only right I give some back to you.

Click here to buy the Mini Site Creator

Rosalind Gardner will always have a special place in my heart. Her book was the book that led me into the online marketing path. It’s engaging, funny and has really good contents. If you want to enter the affiliate world, this book is a must-get. It practically answers every question you ever need to make it as an affiliate.

If you don’t believe me, go buy other types of book with the content as Rosalind Gardner’s book, and you’ll know what I am talking about. However, what I got out of her book was information that were worth more than what she was selling. But there was one part I dislike. She went in detail about the problems she had with a couple of website hosting services, this was good information. The list of hosting services she gave on her site on the other hand was lacking. I tried one of them and I found, if I had only search around myself, I would have found so many hosts that were way better. One advice, find a host that have the Cpanel system. It is the bomb!! Even newbies who find the thought of setting up your own website is mind boggling, will find Cpanel easy to use. I was once one of those newbies, I should know.
